SCOTT AUCTION IS HAPPY TO ACCEPT YOUR ABSENTEE OR ON-LINE BIDS. If you wish to bid on an item on any of our auctions and can not attend the auction in person, simply email or call Scott Auction and let us know which item(s) you wish to leave an absentee bid on. Your bid will be treated as a Proxy bid, meaning that our staff will bid for you as if you were in the crowd bidding for yourself. The attending bidders will open the bid and our staff will bid for you in the same increments that the attending bidders are raising the bid in. If your absentee bid is the high bid at the fall of the hammer, you will pay what the last bid is on that item. We will not enter your bid as the opening bid and will not raise the bid to your high bid just because we know your high bid. Feel confident to leave the maximum bid you are willing to pay for the item and the we will buy that item for you at the best price possible. It is our feeling that by treating absentee bids in this manner we are working in the best interest of our sellers by getting them at least one more bid on their items than they would have received if we did not accept absentee bids.

Description of the item(s) you wish to bid on.
The maximum price you wish to bid on the item(s).
Your NAME - ADDRESS - DAYTIME & EVENING PHONE NUMBERS.
Your BANK NAME - PHONE NUMBER - CONTACT OFFICER.
You agree to the following terms: Successful bids of less than $1000.00 will be expected to Fed Ex overnight the funds to Scott Auction, P.O. Box 398, Garden City, KS 67846-0398 with in 2 business days of the auction. Successful bids over $1000.00 will be expected to wire transfer funds to Scott Auctions bank account with in 2 business days of the auction. Scott Auction reserves the right to not bid for absentee bidders for whom we do not receive a positive bank reference. Scott Auction will not be held responsible in any manner in the event that an absentee bid is not covered for any reason.
